0 – 25 Multi-agency SEND Data Dashboard

This is a new commissioning tool, developed by the Council for Disabled Children (CDC) to support local areas to help understand their data relating to children and young people with SEND. The tool brings together data relevant to education, health and social care that has already been captured by local areas.

At present the Dashboard features health data relating to mental health services, national learning disability statistics, personal health budgets and GP annual health check data for learning disability.

Over the next year CDC will work to develop outcomes based indicators, and corresponding ways to capture this data, that are qualitative and tell the story of children, young people and families’ experience of the system.

This aim is that, in conjunction with the data already in the dashboard, this will allow local areas to demonstrate impact and the journey towards improved outcomes.
